DJ CLAGS (David Claghorn) is an open-format DJ blending late-’70s, ’80s, and ’90s classics with the best of today’s dance hits and modern energy to create feel-good, high-impact dancefloor experiences.

Coming of age in Philadelphia during the golden era of radio, remix culture, and nightlife, his sound was shaped by the pulse of the city—where his love for music and DJing first came to life.

With a career in graphic design and advertising, and as a graduate of the Art Institute of Philadelphia, CLAGS brings a designer’s mindset to every set—crafting seamless, story-driven mixes with precision and flow.

Now based in Vermont, he is currently training under world-renowned DJ Hapa through The DJ Coach Pro Certification program. Under Hapa’s mentorship and alongside his expert team, CLAGS has already performed live on a featured DJ Coach broadcast—marking an exciting return to the stage as a live streamer.

Guided by a coaching approach that is both technical and transformative, he continues to refine his sound, elevate his performance, and build real momentum as a modern DJ with a sound that bridges eras and energizes any room.

His signature style blends nostalgia, remixes, and genre-crossing transitions into a cinematic, uplifting journey designed to move crowds and create lasting memories.

Available for weddings, private events, and destination parties, DJ CLAGS delivers polished, high-energy performances wherever the music takes him.
