Music has always been personal for David Claghorn. Long before he stepped behind a controller, it was about sharing records, discovering artists, and experiencing the way one great song can bring people together. Today, as DJ CLAGS, he brings that same passion to weddings, private celebrations, and corporate events throughout Vermont and select East Coast locations. He is now accepting destination weddings, events, and private parties nationwide.
Known for 80s energy, modern mixing, and thoughtful music curation, DJ CLAGS builds every set around the people in the room—not a generic playlist. His sound moves naturally through 80s favorites, soul, rock, timeless hits, and refreshed classics, creating celebrations that feel polished, personal, and alive.
In August 2026, DJ CLAGS graduated from The DJ Coach’s inaugural Pro DJ Certification program at DJX inside the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City. He is mentored and coached by the legendary Coach Hapa of The DJ Coach, whose leadership, experience, and commitment to the craft have helped shape an entire community of DJs. DJ CLAGS is also coached by Coach Threede and Coach Bryy. As an integral part of The DJ Coach community and alumni network, he continues to grow through ongoing education, mentorship, and connection with fellow DJs.
Combined with his professional background as a Design Director, that training shapes an experience where music, timing, presentation, and every visual detail work together.
